SCRIPTURE EXAMINATIONS
AUCKLAND PRESBYTERY In his report to tho Auckland Presbytery, tho Rev. G. A. D. Spence, convener of the youth committee, stated that 150 scholars from 11 of the Sunday schools under tin; Presbytery had sat for the examination recently conducted by the committee, and that, of these, 41 scholars from eight schools had been awarded prizes from the Bell bequest fund. Gold medals had been awarded to Juno Blake (Epsom) and Marjorio Grimsbaw (Stanley Bay), who obtained highest marks in the scnioi and junior groups respectively.
