Wednesday A suggestion by tho Transport Department. that it take over the control of traffic in Waiuku, iu return for 90 per cent of the revenue derived J'rom the. issue of motor drivers' licences, was placed before tho Waiuku Town Board at its monthly meeting. It was decided to notify the department that tho board could not aceqdc to tho suggestion, as it did not see its way clear to release any of the licenco lees in tlie meantime.
