FARM LABOURER'S DEATH | VERDICT AT THE INQUEST An adjourned inquest into tho death of Henry Bernard MeCormiek, farm labourer, married, aged 34, of To Atatu Road, Henderson, who suffered fatal injuries in a motor accident on the Great North Road, near Waikumete Cemetery, on April 1, was completed before Mr. F. K. Hunt, coroner, yesterdav.

Constable Boag gave evidence that deceased was lying under his motortruck try to remedy a petrol fault, when the truck was struck by another vehicle and a wheel passed over deceased, who died the next day in the Auckland Hospital. The driver of the other vehicle, Tony Garelja, was tried and acquitted 011 a charge of negligent driving causing death. The coroner gave a verdict that death was caused by the injuries received in the accident.
