AUSTRALIA'S SCORE THE FOLKESTONE MATCH O'REILLY'S 40 NOT OUT WAITE'S BRIGHT BATTING

Resuming their, match against ail English eleven at Folkestone to-day, the Australians were dismissed for a total of 390 runs. They had scored 366 for the loss of eight wickets when stumps were drawn on Saturday.

The not-out batsmen were Waite (50) and O'Reilly (28). The weather to-day was cool and dull.

Australia's tail-enders were dismissed within an hour. Waite recorded his highest score of the tour. He hit 10 fours. O'Reilly, who was more sedate than usual, carried his bat for an excellent 40, leaving Australia in a sound position against England's strong batting.

Opening its first innings the England eleven lost four wickets for 101 runs before lunch.
