CABARET METROPOLE
There was a large attendance of dancers at the Cabaret Metropole on Saturday night, when the animated music by Sir. Kin. Beaeham and his orchestra set the pace for jollity. Smooth rhythm and lively syncopation characterised Ihe dance melodies, and encores were vigorously demanded after each item. An action-comedy song by Sir. Vernie Wilson and descriptive vocalised numbers by the guitarist, Sir. George SlcNeil, met with hearty receptions. Popular refrains by Sliss Flo White and a. rhumba demonstration by Sliss Koanui Simeon were additional attractions on the programme. New decorations to the ballroom and the exclusive lighting system completed an effective cabaret aspect.
