DANCE AT DEVONPORT

MASONIC ALBION LODGE annual gathering Many guests were present at the Masonic Hall, Devonport, on Saturday iiio-lit. when members of the Masonic Albion Lodge held their annual ladies ni"-ht. The hall' was specially decorated for the function. A trelliswork of blue and gold streamers, the colours of the lodge, formed an overhead canopy, while on the walls were panels in similar colours and medallions formed by an effective arrangement of nikau palm leaves. The guests were received by the worshipful master, Mr. W. K. Svensen, and his sister, Miss E. Svensen, who wore a frock of black taffetas. The entertainment programme was in the hands of Mr. Leo Hartman, and during the dance intervals humorous items by Mr. R. Harvey and songs by the Melody Trio.were enjoyed.
