GENERAL ELECTION
WELLINGTON SOUTH SEAT INDEPENDENT CANDIDATE [bt telegraph—OWN correspondent] WELLINGTON, Sunday f A member of the Wellington City Council, Mr. William Duncan, has announced that he will contest the Wellington South seat at the general election. He intends to stand as an Independent Liberal.
Mn Duncan contested the Wellington East seat at the last general election.
The present holder of the Wellington South seat is Mr. R. McKeen (Labour).
