MOTHERS' UNION

BIRKENHEAD BRANCH The monthly gathering of the Birkenhead branch of the Mothers' Union was largely attended. The president, Mrs. 1\ C. Davis, presided. An interesting talk on her travels in Cornwall and Devon, in the course of a nino months' tour by caravan, was given by Miss M. Spieer. • The hostesses were Mrs. F. Ilardman and Mrs. S. Setters.

The meeting was preceded by a service ill All Saints' Church, conducted by the vicar of Birkenhead, the llev. P. C. Davis.
