FOURTEEN STOWAWAYS
FRENCH LINER'S RECORD
LONDON, August 24
Although the giant French liner Normandie lost the Atlantic speed record to the Queen Mary, of the CunardAVhite Star Line, she has gained the record for stowaways. Fourteen of them were arrested on the vessel's arrival at Havre to-day. Most of them were Americans seeking to go to the war in Spain.
