The final of the handicap match play competition for the Edwards trophy was played ovor 3(5- holes by members of the Akarana Golf Club. J. C. Mitchell (5) defeated H. E. Bridgens (10) on the 20th irreen by the decisive margin of 11 up and 10 to play. Commencing brilliantly, with an easle three Mitchell paved the way for an excellent morning rouud of 7G to gain a four-hole advantage and. keeping up the pressure, lie allowed Bridgens few opportunities in the afternoon.

In the final for the Powell Cup, plaved by members of the "Whau Valley Golf Club, Frazer-Hurst beat M. Kokicli at the 10th. In the senior championship competition, Georgcson beat A. Martin, 2 and 1, while in the junior championship Dallas beat Going, and Wilkinson beat Keay.
