YOUNG NAVAL RATING LONDON, August 14 The young naval rating Edwin Dwyer, aged 19, who was acquitted in the Far East of having murdered a shipmate on the cruiser Dorsetshire, will inherit £oo.ooo from an uncle, Mr. Robert Brett, when he is 21. Edwin was Mr. Brett's favourite nephew. "But then, he was everybody's favourite," his mother told tlio Daily Mirror. Dwver left for homo immediately after his trial at Hongkong, and went three weeks ago to a secret retreat. His father said: "Edwin is on leave from the Navy. His future is uncertain. 1 do not know how the legacy may affect his plans."
