It is believed that General Franco is planning a big offensive and also is anxious to prevent the escape of Monarchists hoping to reach England to discuss the restoration of the throne. Fifteen rebel deserters after a hazardous crossing of the frontier report that seditious movements are in progress at Burgos and Santander.
