NUMA DEFEATS RAINES [BY TELECIIAP.II—PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Monday In a strenuous wrestling bout Loo Numa, 15st. 81b., beat Dick Haines, 16st. lib., at the Wellington Town Hall to-night by two falls to one. So willing wore the pair that' they staged a further tree exchange of elbow-jolts after the bout was over. The referee had to separate the men and restrain Baines from pursuing Numa from the ring. Numa took the first fall in the third round with a hammer throw and Baines equalised in the fifth, round with a bodv-breaker and a forward body press. The' end came in the seventh round when Numa knocked Baines out and pinned him for the winning fall.
