AN APPLICATION ADJOURNED The discharge from bankruptcy of Michael PavJovich, farmer, of Te Arai, was sought on his behalf by Mr. Armstrong, before Mr. Justice Fair at the Supreme Court yesterday. The application was oppgsed on. behalf of a creditor by Mr. Keith." His Honor said that the Official Assignee recommended that discharge be suspended for three months. Mr. Armstrong said there was serious objection to delay, as the disposal of stock was involved. His Honor said the Official Assignee reported that the bankrupt was doing nothing to facilitate the administration of his e.state ; but everything lie could to obstruct it. Mr. Keith said the bankrupt had been in possession of the property and stock since July, 19.'30, and had paid no rent whatever. His Honor adjolirned tho case until next Tuesday and said that if Mr. Armstrong were then prepared with evidence that tho bankrupt had done his best to facilitate the administration of his estate he would be prepared to consider granting immediate discharge.
