MEETING OF BISHOPS

BOARD OF MISSIONS ANGLICAN CHURCH AFFAIRS [BY TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Friday All the bishops of the Anglican Church in New Zealand are expected at the annual meeting of the New Zealand Anglican Board of Missions in Wellington next Wednesday. The Bishop of Melanesia, the lit. Bev. H. \V. Baddelev, will also attend. The Bishop-elect of Waiapu, the Rev. G. V. Gerard, has been invited to bo present. In addition, a number of clergy and laymen representing various dioceses will" be present. A thanksgiving service for the success of the Board of Missions' work during the past year will bo held in St. Paul's pro-Cathedral on Wednesday night. The preacher will be the Rev. C. W. Haskell, a missionary on furlough from India. Archbishop Averill will pronounce the blessing. Apart from the Board of Missions meeting, the visiting churchmen will bo occupied with the business of the Board of Theological Studies and standing committee of the General Synod.
