AUSTRALIAN TEAM MATCH AGAINST DURHAM 379 RTJNS FOB FIVE A FINE PARTNERSHIP By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright LONDON, August 8 The Australian cricketers in their two-day match against Durham, at Sunderland, had-scored 379 runs for five wickets when stumps were drawn to-day. The fog which delayed the start suddenly lifted, and when won the toss Australia opened at 2.30 p.m. on a slow wicket. The highlight of the .afternoon's cricket was an unfinished partnership of 169 runs by Barnes and Badcock. Barnes, batting in his most dashing style, reached bis century in 120 minutes, and at stumps he, had hit. 15 boundaries. Badcock, driving and hooking furiously, raced to his century in 81 minutes. He hit a six and 10 fours.
