SCOUTS' CRUISE
CHIEF JOINS PARTY INTENT UPON MISSION LONDON, August 8 The Chief Scout, Lord Baden-Powell, in spite of his 81 years, and his recent severe illness, is determined to carry on his scout work. He lias joined 440 leaders of the movement on a 17 days' cruise in the Orduna from Liverpool bound for Iceland, Norway, Denmark and Belgium. Lady Baden-Powell said her husband would not leave the ship at apy port, but would receive scout leaders on board. Lord Baden-Powell said it was necessary to do their to spread s the scotit spirit when the world was in the midst of an unprecedented crisis owing to intolerant national self-assertiveness.
