OFFICERSrOF. l/NION [from our own correspondent] - HAMILTON,- Tuesday - At the annual meeting of the South Auckland Brass Bands' Union, it waa decided to liold the 1939 contest during the East er holidays at ♦Hamilton. The adjudicator will be appointed by postal ballot. The election of officers for the forthcoming year resulted as follows:—President, Mr. T. Parker; executive, Messrs. A. E. Savage, A. Roberts, T. Milne, S. Kemp, E. Tregilgas, W. Meanie, L. Armstrong, H. Wood and J. J. Callaghan; secretary, Mr. t F. Kear; treasurer, Mr. G. Parkhouse.
