OBITUARY
MR. F. McCORMICK [by telegrafh—own correspondent] WAIHI, Tuesday The death has occurred of Mr. Francis McCormick, aged 84. Mr. MeCormick was president and vice-presi-dent of the Waihi Bowling Club for 17 years, holding tho latter office at the time of his death. Mr. McCormick was born in County Down, Ireland, in 1854, and came to New Zealand with his parents when he was eight years old. He is survived by a widow, four sons and three daughters. MRS. SARAH E. CLARK The death has occurred of Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Clark, widow of Mr. Alfred Clark, of 56 Pine Street. Mount Eden, in her 86th year. Mrs. Clark was born in England and arrived at Wellington with her parents. Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Barnard, on the ship Indian Queen in 1856. Until her marriage in 1875. she lived in Wellington. As her husband was in the Civil Service, they made their home in many parts of New Zealand and on his retirement in 1911 they settled in Auckland. Mrs. Clark is survived by two sons and two daughters. Her husband died in 1933.
