annual expeditions PROPOSAL BY CLIMBER J - Times Cable LONDON, August 7 A copyright message to the Times from Mr. W. H. Tilman, leader of the British Everest expedition, states that he is going to Simla from Calcutta to try to arrange with the Sikkim and Tibet authorities for a regular series of attempts on Mount Everest each summer. A message from Simla states that Herr Bauer's German expedition has abandoned its attempt on Nanga Parbat. c
