SETTLEMENT PROBABLE THE MEN TO MEET TO-DAY [bt telegraph—OWN correspondent] GREYMOUTH, Monday A further meeting of the State Miners' Union will be held to-morrow morning to place before members further proposals, discussed by the executive last night, which it is thought will provide a solution to the trouble. There is every possibility of the strike being amicably settled and of a resumption of work at both the James and Liverpool mines on Wednesday.
