FOUNDATION-STONE LAID CEREMONY AT INVERCARGILL [BV TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION] INVERCARGILL, Tuesday Before a large crowd the PostmasterGeneral, the Hon. F. Jones, laid the foundation stone of Invercargill's new chief post office this afternoon. The Minister discussed the development of postal facilities in Southland, which, he said, had been as rapid as the development of the province.
