TOUR CANCELLED AUSTRALIAN COUNTRY TEAM SYDNEY, July '27 The proposed tour of Xew Zealand by a country liugby League team lias been cancelled. The Xew Zealand officials advised the Country Rugby League secretary lliat the itinerary suggested would clash uith big racing fixtures in Auckland, and the tour /would be certain to show a loss. As a result the Xew Zealand League could not offer a guarantee to the Country League. It is likely that a country team will tour the Dominion next year.
