OUTBREAK AT OTOROHANGA 300 CHILDREN AFFECTED [from ouh own coiutksi'ondknt] OTOROHANGA, Friday A severe epidemic of measles is prevalent throughout tho northern King Country, both children and adults being affected. About 300 pupils of the Otorohanga Consolidated School are at present being kept at home owing to the outbreak, while some of tho teaching staff have also been attacked. Although tho school has a heavily depleted roll and teaching staff, it is being kept open for the benefit of some 350 children who are free from measles.
