OFFICIAL ON WORLD TOUR In the course of a world tour, giving Chinese organisations information regarding the progress of the. SinoJapancse War and stimulating their relief activities, Mr. Chu Yook, Government Relief Commissioner of China, was a through passenger on the Monterey, which called at Auckland yesterday. Mr. Yook and his daughter Miss Chu Kum Tso, who accompanies him, were welcomed by the Auckland Chinese Association yesterday afternoon. Ho addressed the gathering brieifly on the conditions in China and discussed various aspects of the war. The visitors wore welcomed by Mr. Fong Kee, the Rov. Y. S. Chau and Mr. Kum, of*the association.
