RETURN TO SHANGHAI
MISS WILKINSON SAFE VISIT TO WAR AREA SHANGHAI, July 5 Tired but well, the New Zealand novelist Miss Iris Wilkinson (Robin Hyde) arrived at Shanghai to-day from Tsingtao, which she reached partly on foot and partly on a Japanese trooptrain. Anxiety was felt for some time when no news was heard of her whereabouts.
Miss Wilkinson loft Shanghai toward the end of May to make a tour on donkey-back of the Snchow area, where fighting was in progress.
