ATTACK BY PIRATES
BRITISH SHIP BOARDED TWO PASSENGERS INJURED MONEY AND FIREARMS TAKEN (Received July <>, 11.30 p.m.) SHANGHAI, July G Pirates on the coast north of Shanghai attacked with machine-guns and ransacked the British steamer Theangtah. One member of the crew and two passengers were wounded. The captain narrowly escaped injury. He was surrounded on the bridge by the pirates, who stole the ship's firearms and all the passengers' money.
