SUICIDES OF JEWS
TRAGIC DAYS IN VIENNA DISMISSAL FROM EMPLOYMENT (Received July 0. 7.'10 p.m.) LONDON, July 0 Evidence confirms that 800 Jews and Jewesses have attempted to commit suicide in the last few days, the majority succeeding, says the Vienna correspondent of the Daily Telegraph. The explanation of rhe suicide wave is an order which Herr Bucrckel, the Nazi Administrator, has repudiated, demanding the dismissal of all Jewish workers. This has been largely given effect.
Trade and tourist traffic has boon brought to a standstill.
