PHYSICAL CULTURE
TALK TO BUSINESS GIRLS 1 A lecture on physical culture was given by an expert to the business girls at their fortnightly luncheon at the Milne and Clioyce Reception Hall on Tuesday. The speaker said that the care of the feet was important, as deformed feet or ill-fitting shoes would throw the whole body out of alignment, often causing it to sag in other parts. If the body were held properly, however, much more could be done without a feeling of tiredness. Several exercises were demonstrated by the expert, who said the modern trend was to do exercises to music, rhythm ical exercises being much easier and pleasanter to do.
