REPLY BY MR. JORDAN INVESTORS SAFEGUARDED (Received July 7, 12.10 a.m.) LONDON. July O 'fhe New Zealand High Commissioner, Mr. W. J. Jordan, vigorously replied to critics of the Dominion's'social legislation at a meeting of the British Empire League to-day. Mr. Jordan emphasised that the New Zealand Government was 'safeguarding both investors and the mass of the people. The Dominion was determined to meet its obligations in full.
