TE PUKE INTERESTS
LYCEUM CLUB AFTERNOON The officers and brethren of the Masonic Lodge, Te Puke, held a most enjoyable ladies' evening in the lodge refectory. The guests on arrival were received by the Worshipful Master, Mr. P. Lumley and Mrs. Lumley. Bridge trophies were won by Mrs. J. Douglas, Mrs. W. Pilcher and Mr. H. Rogers. Among tho ladies present were:— Mesdames J'. Lumley, Bongard, H. Wickham, A. Forrester, W. E. Hookey, R. D. George, H. Ringer, S. Stewart, A. Montgomery, F. Cook. 1?. H. Gibbings, L. Booker, J. Douglas, E. Hargreaves, W. Pilcher, Misses Edwards, Gower and Bush.
The Te Puke Lyceum Club held a mail jong afternoon on Tuesday. Among those present were:—Mesdames E. Hargroaves, J. E. Tod, B. Keys, H. Freeman, A. Montgomery, A. B. Mollgaard, A. H. Washer, W. A. Watson, A. M. Fagnn, L. Fagan, W. Langdon, H. Mends, R. D. George, D. Wickham, \Y. E. Hookey, B. Cawte, M. Hickson, D. Wilson, I. Yercoe, R. Gibbings, A. C. Galpin and H. Grainger.
