TEMPERANCE WORK
A school of methods meeting was held by the Auckland district Women's Christian Temperance Union this week. Representatives from various branches were present and six leaders of the Loyal Temperance Legion, who were welcomed by Mrs. Kasper. At the morning session, the work of the Loyal Temperance Legion was studied, also plans of work for the forthcoming election. At the afternoon session departmental work was the subject dealt with. The speakers were Miss L. Read, Mrs. Hugh Kasper and Mr. L. Faulkner. Mrs. Pace was appointed secretary to the Auckland school of methods.
