DECISION HELD OVER MR. J. STAFFORD'S APPEAL [uy TELEGRAPH— PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON, Wednesday The executive of the Now Zealand Trotting Association this afternoon resolved that its decision in the appeal by Mr. J. Stafford, owner of Pot Luck, against the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club be held over. The appeal was against the decision of the club in awarding tho stake in ono of tho heats in tho International Championship to the winner, U. Scott. HUA OUT OF CUPS WEIGHT-FOR-AGE RACES ONLY (Received July (f. 7.-10 p.m.) MELBOURNE, July 0 The otvnors of Una, winner of the Victoria Derby and St. Leger,' have decided to scratch him from the Caulfield and Melbourne Cups and to reserve him for the weight-for-age races. Una's weight in the Caulfield Cup was 9.4, while in the Melbourne Cup ho had been awarded 9.1.
