SCIENCE SCHOLARSHIPS
SOUTH ISLAND STUDENTS RESEARCH IN ENGLAND [by TELEGRAPH —PRESS ASSOCIATION*] "WELLINGTON, Wednesday The Royal Commissioners for the Exhibition of 1851 hare awarded a science research scholarship for the coming two rears to Mr. E. F. Daly, M.Sc., of Canterbury University College, according to a report received from Dr. A. J. Harrop, the University of New Zealand agent in England. Mr. Daly, as 3 student, has shown outstanding abiltiy in dealing with experimental work in physico-enemistry, and proposes to continue this work in England.
The university post-graduate scholarship in science has been awarded to Mr. S. N. Slater. M.Sc., of the University of who proposes to undertake research in organic chemistry at Oxford.
