CAE STRIKES TETJCKS PARTIAL DERAILMENT MOTORIST'S LUCKY ESCAPE [BY TELKGJtAPH —OWN CORRESPONDENT] DUNEDIN, Tuesday A remarkable collision between a motor-car and a rake of trucks occurred at the Kattray Street level crossing shortly after nine o'clock to-night. The loaded trucks were being shunted from the passenger yards to tho goods yards south of the station, the engine being attached to the northern end of the trucks. The car was proceeding from the wharf toward the city. Visibility on tho Rattray Street crossing is poor at any time after dark and was made worse tonight by tho wet conditions which prevailed. Apparently the driver of the car, a heavy sedan model, did not observe the trucks, for the car collided with tho leading truck, which was not only derailed, but was completely capsized. The second truck was turned over on its side and tho third was partially derailed. The car had to be towed away, ihe driver luckily escaped injury.
