GAMES AT EDEN PARK THE SECOND ROUND TO-DAY Renewed interest will be taken in the second round of the Auckland Rugby Union's senior competition, to commeftce to-day, as three teams start level in the lead. The main attraction at Eden Park will be the meeting of Grammar and Ponsonby, two of the most even teams in the championship. Matches between these fifteens always provide enthusiasts with bright football and there is no reason why the best should not be seen from them today. The forwards in the game between North Shore and Manukau, which meet ir. the curtain-raiser, are evenly matched and the issue will lie between the backs. In the encounter at Sturges Park, Technical, which headed the second division ladder in the first round, has been drawn to play Marist. The strong Grafton fifteen should give the promoted Training College team a hard game at tho Show Grounds.
