Mr. A. K. North was a passenger for Wellington by the .limited express last night. Wing-Commander L. M. Isitt, Royal New Zealand Air Force, arrived from Wellington by yesterday's limited ex. press. _____ Mr J. G. L. Hewitt. S.M.,.chairman of the Railways Appeal Board, was a passenger for the South by the afternoon train yesterday. Mr. H. Richmond, of Melbourne, is at present visiting Auckland, and is at the Grand Hotel. He will leave by the Aorangi for Sydney on Monday. Captain P. W. Kendall, of Melbourne, who has been on a short visit to New Zealand, left Auckland by the Wanganella for Sydney yesterday. Dr. J. A. Pollia, a cancer research worker of Los Angeles, arrived at Auckland by train yesterday morning and addressed Auckland members ot the British Medical Association last night. He is at the Grand Hotel. Mr* W. F. Stilwell, S.M., chairman, and Messrs. J. H. .lerram and A. E. Reynolds, members of the Public Service Appeal Board, left for Wellington by the limited express last night. They will .return to. Auckland next week to resume the hearing of appeals from Auckland and the surrounding districts against the reclassification of the Public Service.
