Crocus (5) and Ratepayer credited Great Bingen with £llOs, while Peter Bingen, through j Hearsay (3), Hori Bingen (2), Kewpie.'s Queen and Klsio Hamlyn secured £B6O. Worthy Bingen sired Tan John, All Bingen and Canadian, and their share was £550. Nelson Fame sired Lady Fame, whose two successes netted £l2O. Native Tree, by Native' King, and Lucky Love, by Nelson Tasker, each added a winning bracket, making the full complement of Nelson Bingen successes 41 for. £7270 in stakes. Two Great Families A feature of the Nelson- Bingen sires record is that excepting Nelson Tasker, they represent only' two families. Neli son Derby, Nelson Fame and Native King are brothers,, their dam being Norice, and Worthy Bingen, Great Bingen and Peter Bingen are sons of ; Bertha Belle. Both mares wero imported irom America and have made trotting 1 history in the land of their adoption by breeding the highest grade horses when mated with Nelson Bingen, also an American-bred horse. Great Bingen and Peter Bingen were two of the Dominion's most successful pacers. 1 Axworthy Winners ' Norico's three sons all took high rank when raced, Native King at the trotting gait, and Nelson Derby and Nelson Fame as pacers. Native King produced many fine trotters, while Nelson Derby, who is the onlv ono of tho threo alive, is represented by a number of high-class pacers. Horses carrying Axworthy blood wero well to the fore this season through Frank Worthy, £1530; Great r Parrish, £850; Travis Axworthy, £610; Worthy Bond, £545; and Guy Parrish, £SOO. Ono win by Starwvn, son of Mr. McElwyn, 1.591, raised the Axworthy j; total to £4210 for 25 wins. ~

Guy Parrish winners were Ladv Bunker • (2) and Parrish Belle. Cavan Chief (3) 1 and Contender, winner of the Great ! Northern Trotting Stakes, represented Travis Axworthy, by Dillon Axworthy. Jewel Pointer's Stock 1 Tho success of Jowel Pointer, who as 1 a racehorse was for years an Auckland 1 idol, is a pleasing feature. With 1 Musketeer, Isabella Pointer, Forest Jewel, Petite Jewel, each scoring twice; Royal Jewel, Young Pointer and Sandusky, his winnings were £IB4O. Jewel Pointer is a son of Logan Pointer. ' The total of £1720 credited to Jack Potts represents three wins by Bexley Girl, two by Chili Bean, one each by Horse Power and Lady Potts, and also included £550 won by Lucky Jack in place money at the Auckland summer meeting. Jack Potts, by Walter Direct —Margaret Steiner, was a splendid type of racehorse and he is a very successful progenitor. Tile Triumph produced Grand Triumph (2), Colleen Murphy and Stalky, all trotting winners. Peterwah was represented when Wall won a doubl?. Peterwah, a high-class trotter, has produced winners in Australia of two-year-old trotting classics. Truman Direct, who had True Trust and Kete Kuru racing, had a return with each I and Author Dillon, a champion of his day, scored twice through Roma Girl. Australian Candidates Australian sires represented were Pedro Pronto, Don Pronto, Win Alto, Roy Redmond and Robert Derby, tho lastnamed being conspicuous as the sire of Lawn Derby, who was successful in one. of his two starts at Epsom. Pedro Pronto figured in two wins through Nervie's Last, and his sire, Don Pronto," was represented by Star Pronto. Lawn Derby, Nervie's Last and Star Pronto were free-legged. Lawn Derby established a two miles record of 4.17 3-5 and Nervie's Last, a mile and a-half Epsom record of 3.15 1-5.
