Scrap, winner of the Greenfield Hurdles at Wingatui, was bought by Miss V. Nichols for 10 guineas at the National yearling sales of 1933 and then turned out until he was a five-year-old. He is by Cockpit from Enmity and a half-brother to Sunnymorn.
