Mrs. W. Paterson, of Hastings, is visiting Auckland. Sirs. Martin Oldbury,-of Kawhia, is at the Royal Hotel. Mrs. John Farrell, of Auckland, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. Alexander Don, of Masterton, is visiting Auckland. Miss Helen Montague left by car yesterday morning for Wellington. -Mrs. G. Ewnrt and Miss M. Large, of Wellington, are at the Station Hotel. Lady Wilford will arrive in Wellington from England by the Tainui, duo on July 20. Miss W. Burroughs, of. Mareret.il, is spending a holiday at Te Kuiti, and will later go to Auckland. Mrs. F. L. Rabone and Miss'J. F. S. Rabone leave Auckland to-day for England by the -Port Jackson. ■ Mrs. S. Gibson Browne, of Auckland, has been staying in Belfast, wrote our London correspondent on June 4. The committee of the Plunkgt Society at Otorolianga held a copper trail in aid of funds. The sum of £l6 was collected. 'Mrs. U. A. Forgie, Lucerne Road, Remuera, who is visiting New Plymouth, will return to Auckland on Saturday. Mrs. G. R. Thynne and Miss Felicity Thynne, of Halls Avenue, Remuera, left yesterday morning to spend a holiday in Taupo. • • Miss Jean Hcrdman and Miss Frances Powell, of Auckland, left yesterday for Paris, wrote our London correspondent on June 4. The gift of a. hanging mirror was .made to Mrs, L. V. Landman, of Otorohanga, by her friends prior to her departure for Prferoa, where she is taking up her residence. Mrs. K. Matthews and Miss M. Solar, of Tauninrunui, have returned to London after a tour of Devon, Cornwall and Wales, wrote our London correspondent on June 4. i Mrs. C. G. Maeindoe and Miss Tweet Macindoe, Westbourne Roard, Remuera, returned to-day by the Wanganella after a twelve months' visit to England and Europe.
