ENJOYABLE DANCE
FIRST OF A SERIES AMALGAMATED THEATRES An enjoyable dance, the first of a series of similar functions to be held throughout the winter, was held by members of the Amalgamated Theatres Social Club in the Rialto ballroom last night. Many members of the staffs of the various theatres were present, as well as their friends, and the function was an outstanding success both from the point of. view of attendance and enjoyment. Novelty dances were popular and included spot waltzes in which floodlights of different brilliant colours were swept over the dancers. Among those present were: —Mrs. 11. H. Watts, white taffetas; Mrs. Roy Shepherd, ' beige lace with a green, gold and clover sash; Airs. N. Hankins, black angelskin lace; Miss Molly Clai'idgo, gold taffetas with a jewelled belt; IMiss Doraine Raikes, Saracen red tall etas; Miss hi.. Main, violet and lilac cloque; Miss K. Nerheny, peryenche blue satin; Miss A. Reid, Indian red taffetas; Miss M. Rhodes, cameo pink floral georgette; Miss James, blue floral taffetas. Miss Beverley Piggott was in white and blue floral satin; Miss Dorothy Piggott, wedgwood blue taffetas; Miss C." Cooper, hois de rose windswept satin; Miss Jean Caulfield, white, beige and blue floral satin; Miss A. Caulfield, black cloque; Miss W. lulloch, salmon pink cloque; Miss J. Carter, primrose floral chiffon; Miss 0. Brown, willow green georgette; Miss JMleen Corbin, white taffetas; Miss B. Havward, blue metnlsisso with a net coate©, Miss I. Thompson, violet taffetas; Miss W. Bullen, forest green floral georgette; Miss H. Corbin, powder blue cloque; Miss Q. Corbin, willow green metalasse; Miss R. Judge, marine blue taffetas; Miss B.
