THE CITY MARKETS

POOR DEMAND FOR APPLES MORE CABBAGES OFFERING

Heavy supplies of all varieties of apples mot with only a poor demand at the City Markets yesterday, the exception being Jonathans, which were keenly sought. Oranges were in fair demand, but lemons and poorman oranges were slow of sale. Prices were lower for hothouse grapes, and even at these levels, sales were slow.
