Mr. Vivian Hugh Smith, governor of the Royal Exchange Assurance Corporation and Lord Lieutenant of the County of Oxford. PRIVY COUNCILLOR Sir David Somervell, Attornej'-General and Barrister-at-Law. BARONET Sir Archibald Weigall, Deputy-Lieuten-ant and High Sherriff of Lincblnshire, chairman of the Royal Empire Society and member of the Council of the Royal Agricultural Society. The King has also appointed Sir Archibald King of Armß of the Order of St. Michael and St. George, in succession to Sir Frank Swettenham, resigned.
