ENJOYABLE AFTERNOON
CROQUET CLUB MEMBERS The members of the Hillsborough Croquet Club held an all-day At Home on their lawns this week. Progressive croquet was played, and at the conclusion of afternoon tea prizes were presented by the president, Mrs. Williams, to the successful players. These were as follows:—A, Mesdames Parrant and McKendrick; B, Mesdames Brier and West. 1
Those present were: —Mesdames Whillans, George, Baker, Parrant, Hollay, Grahame, McKonzie, Davidson, McKendrick, Robertson, Brier, Broun, Clarke, Almao, Aitken, Stringer, Herbert, James, Laing, Scott, West and Miss Whiteliouse.
