AUCKLAND CITY MISSION
A CANTATA PERFORMANCE
The 17th anniversary of tho Auckland City Mission will be celebrated at Epiphany Church on Sunday night by the production of Albert Moore's cantata, " Tho Darkest Hour." The Rev. Jasper Calder will conduct the performance, which is intensely dramatic in character. The principal roles will be sung by Miss A. Hansard, as tho Narrator; Mr. W. Farrow, as Pontius Pilate; Mr. D. Black, as Caiaphas; and Mr. J. Leighton, Scottish bass-baritone, in the role of The Christ. Other soloists include Miss L. Walker Mr. L. Harvey, Miss V. Wishart and Mr. C. Burry. Mr. D. Calder will be the organist.
