BATHS FOR TE AROHA
ALTERNATIVE PROPOSALS | [ißOil our OWN correspondent] TE AROHA, Thursday The Te Aroha Chamber of Commerce recently wrote to the Minister in charge of the Tourist Department, the Hon. F. Langstone, relative to the proposed swimming bath in the Tourist Domain. Mr. Langstone has replied that the outlet from the two bores which tho department has already put down is not considered to bo sufficient to supply a swimming bath. The Minister added that he has therefore decided in tho meantime to hold oyer the question of building a swimming bath and the putting down of further bores until it is seen whether the output from the present bores is likely to be increased, and also whether" they are likely to affect the supply of water for the requirements of the present treatment baths, and the existing swimming facilities. Four alternative schemes have now been, forwarded to the department for consideration. They comprise a totally mineral tepid bath, a partially mineral bath, a tepid fresh water bath and a cold fresh water bath#
