TRIPLE WEDDING

THREE SISTERS MARRIED CEREMONY AT PAEROA [from ouk own correspondent] HAMILTON, "Wednesday A triple wedding of unusual interest took place at Paeroa on Saturday, when three sisters were married at the one ceremony. They were Miss Eileen Mary McCracken, twin daughter of Mr. and Mrs. McCracken, of Tirohia, Paeroa, who was married to Thomas Henry Campbell, of Paeroa, Isabelle Joyce McCracken, twin daughter, who was married to Arthur Gordon Simmons, of Paeroa, and Eva Winifred McCracken, fourth daughter, who was married to Albert Roy Saunders, also of Paeroa.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. P. D. McEwan at the Presbyterian Church.

The three brides were given away by their father. The bridesmaids were Misses E. I J atterson, of Auckland, Phyllis Barker, of Te Arolia, and Linda McCracken, sister of the brides. Misses Joan Morrison, of Paeroa, Heather Cameron, of Paeroa, and Betty' Dynes, of Thames, acted as flower girls. The church was beautifully decorated with white camellias and asparagus fern.

Miss Eileen McCracken wore a white silk velvet gown cut on slimming lines with a high neok and long, tight-fitting sleeves pointed over the hand. The bride bad a fan-shaped train, a silk tulle veil and halo of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of arum lilies.

Miss Isabelle McCracken wore a white silk velvet gow*n cut on slimming lines, with a V-shaped neckline relieved with accordion pleating. The gown had a long, softlv-draped train and halo of orange blossom. M iss Eva McCracken also wore a white silk velvet gown made with softly-draped bodice and cowl neckline, the sleeves being long and tight. The skirt was full after fitting to the knees and the veil was of silk tulle, handembroidered, with a train of silver lame. She also had a halo of orange blossom, while both carried bouquets of arum lilies.

The brides' mother wore blue suede crepe, with hat to tone and a fur stole. She xcarried a posy of violets and maidenhair fern.

The reception was attended by 170 guests. During the church service a solo was given by Master Ewan McEwan —"Beautiful Isle of Somewhere."
