NEW RECORD IN BRITAIN (Received June 8, 12.15 a.m.) LONDON, June 7 The "walking grandmother,'' Mrs. Kitty O'Sullivan, of Auckland, established a women's walking record of 34 days from Land's End to John o' Groats.
