CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING a ■ ELECTION OF OFFICERS The report and balance-sheet prosented, at the annual meeting of the Onehunga Croquet Club showed that a successful and prosperous year had been speiit. The election of. officers resulted:— President, Mrs. T. C. Patterson; pastpresident, Mrs. L. Bray; vice-presi-dents, Mrs. A. Burgess and Mrs. S. Vella; honorary secretary, Mrs. S. Vella; honoraijy treasurer, Mrs. A. Burgess; committee, Mesdames J. E. Cowell, J. Parr, J. Kirkwood, J. B. Cranford, A. Hickman, H. Burrage, Misses .It. Caughley, C. G. Washer; delegates to tho Auckland Croquet Association, Mrs. T. C. Patterson and Mrs. S. Vella.
On behalf of members, Mrs. Yella presented Mrs. Bray, retiring president, with two cases of afternoon tea forks in appreciation of her services to the club, and Mrs. Kirkwood presented Mrs. Patterson with a bridge Bet in recognition of her work.
