WILKINS IN THE ARCTIC .PROPOSALS EXPLAINED LONDON, June G The Australian explorer Sir Hubert Wilkins, in an interview with the Oslo correspondent of the Daily Telegraph, said he expects it to be possible for his submarine to remain under the Arctic ice for three months. Ho is taking drills with which h 6 will bore through the ice in order to come to the surface to renew the air supply and make observations.
